Day 1 : QUITO - SANTA CRUZ ISLAND
Airport assistance to take flight to Galapagos.
Arrive Baltra Airport. Reception and transfer Ferry crossing to Santa Cruz Island (10 min- ride). Arrive to Santa Cruz Island. Stop in highlands of Santa Cruz where you will visit a Giant Tortoise Reserve for an easy hike to observe to Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat. Lunch in the Highlands.
Arrive to Puerto Ayora: Casa Natura: check – in and welcome cocktail. Briefing.
Dinner and overnight. (L, D)
Day 2: SANTA CRUZ: CHARLES DARWIN STATION – ISABELA ISLAND
Breakfast. Visit Charles Darwin Station. The Charles Darwin research station is located in the town of Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Ten minute walk from the Center of town.
At The Charles Darwin Research Station you'll learn first hand of the conservation and research efforts in the Galapagos Islands. See the tortoise hatchlings and breeding programs which are saving several races of tortoises from extinction. Also, the opportunity to see the giant Galapagos tortoises. Departure to Isabela Island by boat or plane. Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to Hotel and check in. Lunch.

Day 3: ISABELA HIGHLANDS – VOLCAN SIERRA NEGRA
After breakfast, we take a bus ride up to the highlands of Isabela where we horseback (optional) or hike to “Sierra Negra Volcano”, one of the active volcanoes in the Galapagos.
Box Lunch will be in the Crater of the Volcano, the largest caldera in the islands with a diameter of 9-10 kms. Sierra Negra offers volcanic activity as well as spectacular geology and the northwest side of the cald era is an area of fumaroles. Return around 4:00PM. Afternoon relaxing on the stunning white sand beach of Puerto Villamil or at the lodge restaurant. * Share tour: Volcano Sierra Negra Tour. (B, Box Lunch, D)
Day 4: ISABELA ISLAND
Visit Tintoreras: A short distance from Puerto Villamil is the small island known as 'Las Tintoreras'. Opportunity to see the colony of penguins recently established in Puerto Villamil, often resting side by side with Blue Footed Boobies. Here a colony of white tip sharks can often be seen resting in a lava canal. You can snorkel or swim around this island. Back to Puerto Villamil for lunch at hotel and free afternoon. Visit Poza de Flamingoes. Located next to the road that leads from Puerto Villamil to the Wall of Tears is the largest lagoon in Galapagos, and is also one of the main reproduction sites for flamingos. (B, L, D)
Day 5: ISABELA – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND
After breakfast, transfer out to Santa Cruz Island by speed boat. We visit Tortuga Bay, a wonderful beach: One hour walk (five km) west from Puerto Ayora on a marked and cobbled path. The path is good for bird watching; it is easy to spot several species of finches as you walk along the path. The white sand beach is considered by many the nicest of the archipelago. It name comes from the sea turtles that go there to lay their eggs. Other species can be found, including pelicans, flamingos and marine iguanas. Afternoon in the beach and free time. (B, L, D)
Day 6: TRANSFER OUT: SANTA CRUZ – QUITO
Breakfast and Transfer out Baltra’s airport in order to catch your flight black to mainland for connections or visit Ecuador. Arrive to Quito. End of services.
The itinerary may be subject to change due to the timetable variation in International and domestic flights, Trains, buses. Delay in rivers and lakes due to weather conditions. Social unrest or natural catastrophes. Technical malfunction (planes).
